Ilgan Sports, on 2 September, quoted a CP Entertainment official: the two promised to share their lives on the basis of deep trust, and asked for congratulations. The same piece dates the wedding to 12 December at an undisclosed Seoul venue, notes that the date is also Vata's birthday, and says they will marry at about the one-year mark of dating. Public dating began when both sides confirmed the relationship in April, so the "five months" clock is from that announcement, not from the first meeting.
Xports News carried the same agency quote and the same MyDaily-originated wedding date. It adds that Vata leads the dance crew WeDamBoyz, runners-up on Mnet's Street Man Fighter in 2022, and that he has choreographed for artists including Zico's Saebbing challenge era and, later, BLACKPINK's Jennie on like JENNIE.

Why boards are calling it fast
Theqoo's hot board on the morning of 2 September carried a press rewrite of the exclusive with hundreds of comments. That is heat. It does not change the agency line.
"초고속" in Korean headlines means the gap from public dating to a wedding date feels short by celebrity standards. Ilgan Sports uses the word. It does not mean the wedding was moved up from a later date. Xports News also notes they were already colleagues: Vata choreographed Milkshake for Ji Ye-eun and Ji Suk-jin's Chungju GC project at Waterbomb Seoul 2025.
Ji Ye-eun is a Running Man regular and came up through SNL Korea. Vata is known to foreign viewers mainly through Street Man Fighter and K-pop choreography credits. Those roles are biography, not wedding details.
