Girls' Generation's Hyorisoo dropped Skibidi. That is not a Coachella booking.
SM confirmed a Hyoyeon-Yuri-Sooyoung single, Skibidi, on 31 August 2026. Yonhap has the tracks and a YouTube origin. Coachella is still a joke.
TL;DR — SM Entertainment, Hyoyeon's agency, said Girls' Generation members Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung would release a digital single titled Skibidi at 6 p.m. KST on 31 August 2026 as the unit Hyorisoo, or Girls' Generation-HRS. Yonhap lists two tracks, a 22 August festival debut, and a YouTube origin story. A Coachella date is fan talk, not an announcement.
Three 20-year Girls' Generation members just "debuted." The joke is the point. The booking is real.
What SM actually said
Yonhap, quoting SM on 31 August, named the unit as Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung. The digital single Skibidi holds the title track of the same name and a second song, Lowkey In Love. SM described Skibidi as a track that starts in house and moves into hip-hop, with Arabian string samples and a line about making their own new path. Lowkey In Love is dance-pop with retro brass.
The same dispatch says they first performed both songs on 22 August at the 2026 Car School Festival at Seoul Land in Gwacheon. Yonhap traces the project to Hyoyeon's personal YouTube: the three competed on camera for main vocal and center. TVXQ's Yunho, DinDin and John Park appeared on that series.
Star News, later the same day, reported Hyoyeon posting "Hyorisoo SKIBIDI is out" with photos, and about 1,500 comments on the performance video within an hour. It quotes viewers joking about Coachella. That is reaction, not a festival confirmation.

Why Korean boards are treating it as a debut
Theqoo's hot list on 31 August filled with the performance video and with a related post about actor Byun Yo-han appearing on Hyoyeon's channel. Those threads are heat. They do not add a chart position or a tour date SM has not stated.
The nickname "20-year rookies" is the joke Star News used in a headline. It is not a new trainee class. TTS (Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun) was an earlier Girls' Generation unit. HRS is a different trio.
Skibidi is also an internet meme word. Yonhap's copy is about the song's arrangement, not the meme. Do not read a children's-video punchline into SM's tracklist unless the agency says so.
